Alexis' 13th Birthday Party
Decorations, compliments of Kimberly along with the peanut butter ganache brownies. So YUMMY!!! Who knew there was peanut butter ganache. Well, that's what happens when Kimberly and Alexis get together. Love the moving display stand the brownie cupcakes are on.
WORK
So a few months ago I was in court for 10 hours. The transcript wasn't ordered at that time, WAHOO or so I thought. They are appealing it, so I ended up having to transcribe "the beast", 430-page transcript. Almost an entire ream of paper. It took FOREVER. Two entire weeks of working nonstop, all day, every day.
JMU started again, too. I'm working with students who are taking Int'l Finance, Econometrics, History from 1500, Marketing, and even a graduate program for teaching foreign languages. I love my free education. No tests, no quizzes, I just sit back and take in what I want. Although, the Int'l Finance professor talks about 300 words per minute, and I'm seriously not even exaggerating. WHEW, another busy semester.

1st Day of School
Alexis had a very successful 1st week of school. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. She's got some really good teachers this year and already has homework. Her favorite class is Science. Lunch is always a favorite, too. IOWA

Alexis took Cayden for a ride in the wagon. Alexis spent a few weeks this summer in Iowa. She had a great time. She loved tubing down the Iowa River.
