Memorial Day - Annapolis, MD
What a fun Memorial Day we had. We had an amazing barbecue on Sunday, steak with carmelized shallots; tomatoe, basil, and buffalo mozzarella cheese; garlic mashed potatoes, and for desseret the best homemade peach pie ever, of course, Kimberly baked it.

You know how you tell your kids not the play with their food... well, here not only do you get to play with your food, you get to take a hammer to your food and pound on it. It was so much fun. First time I've ever had crab. It tasted so delicious.
Alexis even got the hang of it, too. Science disections will never be the same again.

Six Flags
We spent Saturday at Six Flags. Alexis' friends and their mother, Jodi, came along. It was their first time at an amusement park, first time on roller coasters. It was tons of fun watching them on the rides. They liked the rides they got wet on the best. Imagine your first time on a roller coaster going up 20 stories, traveling 75 mph...they were, shocked, stunned, excited, scared. They went on so many rides that spun in circles, that honestly, I don't even know how they were able to walk by the end of the day.
